I’ve been working as a counsellor for the past two decades.
Counselling children, young people, couples and individuals, there is a wide variety of opportunities to engage with.
My specialism is the field of infertility, pregnancy, birth and all related issues. A unique service where a couple can be supported prior to conception/pregnancy right through the early years of parenting.
Issues such as anxiety, depression, relationships issues are common areas that I support clients through. Working with various therapy styles, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Gestalt, Humanistic and Holistic, I aim to match the counselling needs to each individual or couple that I see.
Understandably starting counselling can seem a little or a lot daunting - taking the first step breaks down that barrier. Many report back that ‘it wasn’t scary after all’. I hope you find the courage to take the next steps to getting the support you need.
I am a member of British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I sit on the committee of Hampshire Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy (HACP). We run training evenings, day trainings and have organised three conferences in the past 6 years.
